What are some of the things that aren’t working?

How do you communicate initially with the potential clients?  Email / Phone / Other? Please describe the general process.

Are there certain recurring situations / problems that happen during the client relationship building process / opportunity closing process?  The CRM can be a great ‘problem solving tool’…  List the main problem areas you see in your business process:

We can create professional email / document templates to improve efficiency in these areas.  Simple emailing, to clients for example, can be very time consuming, adding to the 'client relationship building’ and/or ‘opportunity closure time'.  Emails have to be well thought out, strategic, grammatically correct, polite, correct spelling etc...  All of this can in fact take a lot of a sales persons time... I plan to create numerous email templates for the more 'typical' sales situations:

 - Introductions,
 - Initial meeting follow ups,
 - Responses to requests for more information
 - Submissions of proposals / quotes
 - Follow ups - polite 'pushes'
 - and so on...

Please provide me with some examples of these recurring situations related to your business processes / typical problems you / your team face, please list them below.
