The link between the accounts and contacts is on the account (company) name. Accounts need to be imported first, then contacts. In your contacts excel list you should also include the account name. It must be EXACTLY as spelled in your accounts list. This is the easiest method and works fine: ie, your account "ABC Co. Ltd." will go into the CRM first, then all contacts with the account column value "ABC Co. Ltd." will be logged against the account "ABC Co. Ltd." and show up in the contacts section of that account.
Don't forget to make sure it is mapped correctly when you import the contacts file, ie. map the (contact's) account name column to the Account field.
In addition, make sure your data is clean. Example: if your data has two contacts under one account but stores that account as "ABC Co. Ltd." and "ABC Company", it has not way of knowing they are the same account.
We strongly suggest you clean your data before any import.
